Vibrant Watercolor Botanicals

Always wanted to try watercolor painting but feel intimidated? This class will change that! Join me for a fun-filled foray into the world of whimsical florals and botanicals. Using simple shapes and lush color, we will explore watercolor techniques including washes, blending, layering and texture. Drawing inspiration from reference photos, we will elarn to create simple floral shapes, add vibrant color, texture and finish with fun pattern detail. All materials provided.

This is a great class for beginners and for more experienced artists who are interested in learning a new technique. No prior experience necessary. 

Sally-Ann is a Northern California multidisciplinary artist based in Petaluma, CA. She received her BA in Graphic Design from Newport College of Art in the UK. After working for 20 years as a packaging designer, she is now a freelance illustrator and licensed artist selling her work online and on products nationwide. Sally-Ann has attended workshops in France and throughout the U.S. Her work can be seen at www.slangleyart.com.
