Main Gallery
Figure As Story is a juried exhibitionn featuring 51 artist from 9 Bay Area counties. It reflects the vitality of contemporary figurative art, representing a multitude of art forms and approaches to the figure. As a special feature of the show artists were requested to provide a story about their work. Some chose to create a fiction; others shared their process or inspiration.
QUEER TIME CAPSULE: Preserving LGBTQIA+ Storiesin a Time of Erasure
North Gallery
Queer Time Capsule is a living archive—an evolving record of queer life today. This exhibition features new photographic work by Sarah Deragon, honoring the presence, beauty, and strength of LGBTQIA+ people in a moment when their very existence is under threat. Through bold, joyful and deeply personal portraits, the exhibition stands as a visual marker of this moment in queer history—preserving truth before it can be censored, rewritten, or erased.

PAC generates 6 shows a year with two anchor shows (our Youth and Members Exhibitions). Our juried shows define our values of community and partnership. This means we don’t focus on a single artist but rather on concepts or themes that support more local and Bay Area artists. If you have curatorial experience and would like to be a guest curator, we’d love to hear your ideas!

The Gallery Boutique features high quality and affordable ceramics, jewelry, textiles, note cards and other mediums/materials created by Petaluma Arts Center member artists. Visit the boutique during PAC open hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 12:00pm - 4:00pm.
