Exhibition Openings:
Join us for a lively evening bash to kick off each new show at the PAC. Our exhibition openings are a popular tradition, featuring award-winning local wines, delicious food, and the company of art enthusiasts. It’s the perfect way to celebrate art and connect with fellow members of the community.
Exhibition Events:
Each of our exhibitions is accompanied by a series of events designed to deepen community engagement and enhance the artistic experience. These may include artist talks, guided tours, and interactive activities that invite you to explore the art from new perspectives.
Idea Lounge:
The Idea Lounge series is a unique experience where unexpected conversational pairings take center stage. Rooted in Petaluma, each event features two speakers discussing seemingly unrelated topics, sparking curiosity and conversation. The audience is then invited to engage, uncovering surprising connections and insights.
Live at PAC:
An afternoon or evening of curated events that embrace film, staged readings, poetry, dance, music, or whatever a community member envisions. If you are interested in organizing a Live at PAC event, we would love to hear from you. Volunteers can help us to run this and other events, or provide suggestions for other programming.
Classes:
Expand your artistic skills and explore new mediums with PAC’s classes. Our Life Drawing sessions take place on Monday evenings and are open to all skill levels. Each session features a different model and provides a supportive environment for honing your drawing abilities. Keep an eye on our schedule for more classes coming soon, and sign up for our mailing list to stay updated on new offerings.
Monthly Art Exchange:
Members Only
On the fourth Tuesday of every month, PAC hosts the Monthly Art Exchange. Bring an artwork or a digital image of your work, whether finished or in progress. PAC provides guidelines for discussion as participants break into small groups to review each other’s pieces. The evening concludes with everyone coming together to mingle, share feedback, and enjoy refreshments. Throughout the year, PAC also hosts professional presentations.
PAC is the best way to connect a community through creativity and celebration.
Rent Our Space
Petaluma Arts Center is an ideal facility for meetings, classes, private parties, exhibits, and special events.
Rate: $150 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum. Members receive a 15% discount.
Space included in rental: North Gallery, G.K. Hardt Gallery, classroom, and exterior of building.
