Volunteers Wanted!

Looking for a way to give back to your community, meet new friends, share your love for the arts, enhance your leadership skills, and hang out with interesting and engaging people? The Petaluma Arts Center (PAC) is seeking volunteers who are passionate about creativity and eager to make a difference. Whether you’re interested in assisting with classes, events, exhibitions, our boutique, or greeting visitors, we have a variety of opportunities available.

“Volunteering at Petaluma Arts Center has been a very positive experience for me - friendly staff, super dedicated volunteers, extremely talented artist members and knowledgeable show curators. I especially enjoy the friendships developed at the art center, and hearing the awe and delight expressed by gallery visitors after they view one of PAC’s visually stimulating exhibits.”

Why Volunteer at PAC?

Volunteering at PAC is more than just a way to contribute to the arts; it’s an opportunity to become part of a vibrant community of artists, curators, and art enthusiasts. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Support and Promote the Arts: Play a vital role in bringing art to the community by helping with exhibitions, events, and educational programs.

  • Develop Your Skills: Enhance your leadership, communication, and organizational skills through hands-on experiences.

  • Build Lasting Connections: Meet like-minded individuals and develop friendships with fellow volunteers, staff, and artists.

  • Make a Difference: Your time and efforts directly contribute to the success and growth of PAC and the broader arts community.

Live at PAC

We need volunteers to help launch Live at PAC — an afternoon or evening of curated events that embrace film, staged readings, poetry, dance, music, or whatever a community member envisions. If you are interested in organizing a Live at PAC event, we would love to hear from you.

“There is a lively arts scene in Petaluma and the Arts Center is an important participant. As a volunteer, I've enjoyed bringing new people from the community into the Center to participate in the Idea Lounge series, either as speakers or audience members. I like attending the opening receptions and seeing the reaction of first time viewers to our creative exhibits. Volunteering at PAC is a great opportunity to work with a terrific staff and fellow volunteers and to interact with artists and curators”.
