This panel brings together artists, curators, and advocates to discuss the evolving landscape of contemporary art created by artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The conversation explores how these artists are redefining the boundaries of art through innovative and expressive forms, while also addressing the broader societal impact of their work.  Key themes include:

Artistic Innovation: Highlighting the unique creative processes and contributions of artists with IDD

Inclusion and Accessibility: Discussing how the art world is evolving to become more inclusive.

Cultural Perception: Analyzing how art created by individuals with disabilities is perceived, both in the art world and by the public.

Ethics and Representation: Reflecting on the ethics of curation, representation, and the commercialization of work by artists with IDD.

The panel discussion will conclude with an open question Q & A period.
