Session Two - Mixed Media Collage - November 9

Levels: All
Minimum 5 | Maximum 10
Introduction:
In session one we’ll create unique prints using the Gelli plate printing technique which is beginner friendly and lots of fun! Explore this hands-on printing method that will encourage your creativity to flourish. Create vibrant abstract works on paper experimenting with stencils, leaves, textiles and found objects to create interesting patterns and textures, the only limitation is your imagination.
In the second session we will create a mixed media collage layering and embellishing the papers created in session one. Most supplies will be provided, heavy card stock, glue, paints, brushes, and drawing materials. You are encouraged to bring your own special papers, notes, letters, photos, pressed flowers and any other materials you may want to integrate into your design.
This is a great class for beginners and for more experienced artists who are interested in learning a new technique. No prior experience necessary.
Materials provided: gel plate, acrylic paints, brayer rollers, various papers, pressed flowers & leaves stencils and mark making tools.
I look forward to making ART and printing with you!
