An open discussion among PAC artist members and others

At our May Art Exchange, we lingered after the program to discuss options about how best to utilize the Art Exchange format.  Attendees enthusiastically agreed to test some options other than a single presenter.  For August, we are meeting among ourselves to share information about anything to do with art.  Bring your ideas about:  where to show, how to show, getting into a gallery, workshops with presenters that served you well, least expensive source of art supplies…and more.

We can also discuss other ideas presented during the May meeting– like, holding a critique group or meeting off site more often. Be sure to register with Eventbrite so we know you’re coming.

Art Exchange is a series of quarterly happenings for artists designed to build the creative web of Sonoma County and offer knowledge and resources on the business side of the arts. Part mixer, part professional development and part art engagement, Art Exchange will convene in April, July, October and December, 5:30- 7:30pm. Join us for a short talk, an experience with Visual Thinking Strategies and a chance to meet fellow artists in a South County incubator art space.
