Kathy Andrew |
Originally from England, artist and novelist Kathy Andrew studied painting in San Francisco under Fred Reichman. Her work has been exhibited in San Francisco, Petaluma and the UK.
She ran Stormy Leather, a women’s erotic leather clothing and sex toy business in San Francisco for 20yrs, but after being diagnosed with Lupus in 2002, had to take early retirement. She found her creativity a saving grace and the adaptations in her artwork were exemplary of the changes she had to make in the rest of her life.
Kathy has become a writer and has a Certificate in Creative Writing. She moved to Petaluma with her partner, Cindy Burns, in 2013 and the Sonoma countryside is an inspiration for her abstract landscapes. Though she hasn’t yet secured literary representation, Kathy’s third novel will be sent to prospective agents in the new year.
Drake has been a resident of Petaluma since 2005, when he and his wife, Ann Ingraham, found the city by accident while living in SF and searching for affordable housing. Originally from Baltimore, Drake has a BA in Sculpture and an MA in Writing and Design. After years of operating his own construction company, Drake is currently the General Superintendent for a residential contractor in Sausalito. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together Petaluma, a non-profit that utilizes volunteers to repair and renovate housing for the elderly, veterans, and those in need. When not working or volunteering, Drake can often be found hiking the redwoods, biking around town with his son, or pouring coffee over his paintings at Peet’s on the boulevard.
