Summer Arts Camp


Petaluma Arts Center’s summer arts camps include ceramics, drawing and painting, sculpture, sidewalk art, illustration, felting, doll making, cartooning, and more. Experienced instructors provide a supportive learning environment for budding artists and artisans ages 5-17. The summer concludes with a special “pop-up art show” for family and friends August 10th at 5pm. Sign up for one session or several.

  • All campers must bring completed PAC Emergency Form and Photography Consent form. Please bring these forms to the first day of camp. Forms must be filled out by a parent or adult guardian.

Ages: 8 - 16
Tuition: $150 general, $125 PAC members
Materials fee: $10, payable to instructor on first day of class

Class description:

Learn how to create your own Pokémon and Manga and how to draw your favorite characters. Media: pencils, watercolors pencils, ink pens, markers, and soft pastels.

About the Instructor:
Barbara Golden was born in Basel, Switzerland, and lived in Germany and Canada before settling in Northern California. She has taught enrichment classes, summer camps and a variety of cartooning classes in multiple countries. She is writing a cartooning book based on all the experience she gained from teaching and the learning materials she has gathered over the years.
