Summer Arts Camp


Petaluma Arts Center’s summer arts camps include ceramics, drawing and painting, sculpture, sidewalk art, illustration, felting, doll making, cartooning, and more. Experienced instructors provide a supportive learning environment for budding artists and artisans ages 5-17. The summer concludes with a special “pop-up art show” for family and friends August 10th at 5pm. Sign up for one session or several.

  • All campers must bring completed PAC Emergency Form and Photography Consent form. Please bring these forms to the first day of camp. Forms must be filled out by a parent or adult guardian.
Drawing in Black and White and COLOR Summer Camp

Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Ages: 7-11
Tuition: $150 general, $130 PAC members
Materials Fee: $20 payable to instructor on first day of class

This class explores drawing in black and white using ink, and ink washes with the addition of colored inks either as lines, fill or washes. It's a great follow-up to the Black and White Ink class.  We will explore how color can effect all aspect of a drawing. Subject matter will include free form warm up exercises, still lives, working from nature on a small and large scale, abstract and fantasy images. Also, tips for cartooning. Matts are available for finished work.
