Safety Protocols
  • Enrollment is limited to 12 students per camp. All camps will meet at the Petaluma Arts Center classroom and instruction will be divided between time spent indoors and outdoors.
  • The same group of students will participate in each camp. No drop-ins are allowed
  • All staff and students must follow comprehensive daily health and safety protocols created in partnership with county healthcare professionals.

Hygiene Measures

  • Hand-washing stations and disinfectant will be available in the classroom. Disinfection of “touch points” in the classrooms will occur daily at the start and end of each camp.
  • Teachers will handle student art materials only when absolutely necessary (and then only with gloves).
  • No more than one student can visit the restroom at a time.

  • All students will need to complete a daily health questionnaire.

  • Physical distancing will be necessary at all times.
  • Food sharing will not be allowed.
  • Since the students in each class are required to be the same each day, children may only participate in either the morning or afternoon classes each week.
  • Classroom time will be divided between  indoor and outdoor sessions.

  • All staff and students are advised to wear masks when they are in common spaces and classrooms, whether physical-distancing or not. While it is anticipated this will be difficult to enforce with the younger children, it will be expected and required of older students.

*All campers must bring completed PAC Emergency Form and Photography Consent form. Please bring these forms to the first day of camp. Forms must be filled out by a parent or adult guardian.

*NOTE: we are launching summer camp registration with the expectation that the current shelter-in-place will be lifted by June. As the situation continues to unfold, we will update our camp offerings and communicate as soon as possible.

Thank you to our generous Summer Arts Camp sponsor!!!
