Figure Drawing Workshop for Adults
Saturday, March 30
10 am - 5 pm
Please join us for a day of Figurative Drawing Instruction at PAC. Artist Christopher Newhard will share the techniques he has been teaching to artists and students for over 20 years, techniques that date back to the Italian Renaissance. Artists will learn to render accurate proportions and gestures though demonstrations and practice, beginning with short gesture drawings and leading up to long 20 minute poses. There will be plenty of one-on-one instruction as the day progresses. Just bring your drawing pad, some charcoal, and a drawing board. The workshop will have a one hour break for lunch. Christopher Newhard will be available for questions during this time. Registration is limited so register early to ensure your place in the workshop.
Bring your drawing board, newsprint and charcoal.
