Petaluma Arts Center’s summer arts camps include ceramics, drawing and painting, sidewalk art, illustration, jewelry making, cartooning, and more. Experienced instructors provide a supportive learning environment for budding artists and artisans ages 5-18. Mud Buddies       Group Tours / Field Trips

Learn to Make Cyanotype and Salt Prints 2-day Workshop


Dates: 2 days, Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30
Time: 10:00am- 2:00pm.
Ages: 15 and up. All levels.
Tuition: $135 general, $121.50 PAC members
Materials fee: $45, payable to instructor on the first day of class
Registration Deadline: EXTENDED Friday, June 28, 5:00pm

Learn about the history and introduction of salt printing and cyanotype photography processes.  Demonstration and the introduction to chemistry and process will be covered during the 2-day workshop. All levels, no experience necessary.
 
About the instructor:  Jessica Layton is a fine art and commercial photographer.  Currently, she teaches photography at the Santa Rosa Junior College.  She has exhibited internationally and is the recipient of the European Leica Prix.  She holds a Masters in Photography from Royal College of Art, London.

Drop-in Classes

 

Mud Buddies is a drop-in weekly class on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Pay at the door. For more information, contact Candace Birchfield at (707) 347-9223 or mudbuddiespetaluma@gmail.com

$15 per 3 hour session
$78 for 6 3 hour sessions
$120 for 10 3 hour sessions

Clay is $30 for a 25 pound bag. Only clay purchased at Mud buddies may be used.
