Comic Camp: Create Your Own World with Barbara Golden

Dates: Monday, August 7 – Thursday, August 10
Time: 9:30am – 12:00pm
Ages: 6-14
Tuition: $125 general, $112.50 PAC members
Materials fee: $15 payable to instructor on first day of class
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, August 2, 11:59pm

In this class, students will learn how to design and develop their own Cartoon Characters. Bring them to life with a few speed lines and let them have adventures in your own magical world!
 
About the Instructor:
Barbara Golden was born in Basel, Switzerland, and lived in Germany and Canada before settling in Northern California. She has taught enrichment classes, summer camps and a variety of cartooning classes in multiple countries and is writing a Cartooning book based on all the experience she gained from her past 15 years of teaching and all the fun learning materials she has gathered over the years.

Please note: Occasionally, PAC will need to cancel a class. If this happens, PAC will notify students at least one day in advance and give a full refund or credit to another Summer Arts Camp 2017 class.

Drop-in Classes

 

Mud Buddies is a drop-in weekly class on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Pay at the door. For more information, contact Candace Birchfield at (707) 347-9223 or mudbuddiespetaluma@gmail.com

$15 per 3 hour session
$78 for 6 3 hour sessions
$120 for 10 3 hour sessions

Clay is $30 for a 25 pound bag. Only clay purchased at Mud buddies may be used.

We use the Visual Thinking Strategies method as the basis for experiencing art.  Hands-on art projects available.
