Join us as we gather to get our hands in clay! Some experience is helpful in this supervised Open Studio for ages 16-adult. No sign-ups necessary, simply come and make pottery and sculpture by hand or with the potter’s wheel. * Only clay purchased through the Arts Center will be used.

This class capitalizes on the Basic Art Journaling I class and goes further into each of the basic techniques learned in Basic Art Journaling. There will be special project pages as well as instruction on special techniques such as image transfers using TAP, hand-lettering, collage and composition, & journaling exercises to get creative juices flowing.

Ancient Jewelry Designs    SIGN UP

The ancient jeweler had limited ways to make jewelry designs and spent time creating with wire and hammered metal. We will use these techniques to make a fibula brooch that held togas together. We will also create spiral form earrings, and a simple coil bracelet in brass and copper wire. Fun, filled with 3 big projects, made for the novice or the expert! Lunch  and snacks provided.
