Body structure is similar to vintage bed dolls.  Imaginatively costumed, fabric doll with wired fingers. Playing with clothing components, embellishment and expression to promote individuality is a key element of the class. The figure wears a flower fascinator made from wool felt and wire.   Fabric doll and clothing are sewn in advance.
Discussion of placement and shaping of features on the face, highlight and shadow to create depth are also included. An update using embroidery techniques in the face is included.
