CALL FOR ART - Youth Art Show "ART Connects Us"

CLOSED

The Petaluma Arts Center (PAC) is pleased to announce the 11th Annual '"ART Connects Us," a juried youth arts exhibition open to all Petaluma K-12 students.  With over 100 students typically participating, this exhibit provides a creative outlet and a vibrant, supportive and educational space for Petaluma students and their diverse artistic expressions.

"By displaying Petaluma students' artistry in a professional gallery setting, we're engaging parents, teachers, district administrators, advocates for school arts and community members  to celebrate their work. This is a one-of-a-kind experience bringing our young artists together with the community," says Kate Blakeslee curator for the show.

Mission: To cultivate art for all Petaluma youth and provide a vibrant, supportive + educational space to showcase their work.

The exhibit will engage students, teachers, parents and arts professionals in a collaborative effort to host a exhibit showcasing our youth in the PAC galleries, March 23 through April 28, 2023. The exhibit will be curated, installed and publicized in a professional manner consistent with the arts center standard.  Supporting programs such as portfolio critiques, workshops on framing and presenting artwork will be held for High School Students.
