Curators of the invitational portion of the exhibition to be installed in the G.K. Hart Gallery, are Joseph McDonald and Kathleen Hanna. McDonald was a dealer/expert in fine prints before becoming the staff photographer for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and currently a partener in Digital Grange, one of an important group of Bay Area venues for digital imagery that includes Berkelery’s Magnolia Press. Hanna is an independent curator and exhibition designer who has worked extensively in museums, galleries and art spaces since 1981.

Joe Dolye will be the juror for submissions by artists who include digital technology (including video) in their practice.
Joe Doyle received his MA from San Francisco State University in 1971, and his work has since been included in twenty solo shows and fifty-eight group exhibitions. He started his career as a traditional painter and switched to digital art in the mid-nineties. He has taught art continually for over four decades, receiving tenure at Berkeley City College (BCC) in 1998. As a faculty member at BCC, he co-founded the Multimedia Arts Program and the Digital Arts Club, and founded the Digital Printing Department. He is interested in large-scale printing, using both 2D and 3D software. www.joedoyle.net.

Images must be of exact work in digital format on a CD. Please put your name on the CD. No more then 2 images per entry, please. Submit one overall shot and one (optional) detail shot for each entry. Label each entry on the CD with your last name & the entry number. Save digital images as jpeg files only, at a resolution of 300 dpi approximately 5×7.
Title each image as follows:
your last name (this MUST be first in the file title)
the entry number that image represents (1 2 3 or 4)
abbreviate the name of the artwork (do not use quotation marks)
DO NOT add spaces, extra punctuation, numbers or extra characters (such as ” ” /: % #) to the image file titles.
Liability: All reasonable care will be taken with the works, but insurance is the responsibility of the artist. All possible precautions will be taken to safeguard work from loss or damage but neither the Petaluma Arts Council or anyone connected with this exhibition will be responsible for loss or damage from any cause. Artists will be required to sign a Release of Liability form at time of delivery.
Sales: All sales are made through the Petaluma Arts Council; CA sales tax is applicable. Proceeds of sales are split 70/30, with the artist retaining 70% of the price, PAC retaining 30%.

Petaluma Arts Center is a non-profit organization, supported by the generosity of its membership, sponsors and grants. The 4,500 square foot facility boasts the large, well-lit G. K. Hart exhibition gallery, smaller Community Gallery, and classrooms. Exhibitions include related workshops and demonstrations by exhibiting artists, docent tours and an after school program for children.
The Petaluma Arts Center is an intersection where people encounter, engage and enjoy a diversity of art experiences. The facility is located in the historic Railroad Depot Freight building, at 230 Lakeville Street, next door to the Petaluma Visitors Center
